Hello everyone,
How are you all doing? I am fairly busy at work but thoroughly enjoying my evenings now it is lighter for longer. I have started sewing vegetable seeds in the garden and the bulbs are still looking fantastic, happy days.
But anyway, back to the point. I have a finished object for you. Last night I cast off my Lush cardigan (pattern by Tincanknits – available here) and I could not be happier. For this cardigan I used Cascade 220 worsted in the pacific colourway. I used just over 4 skeins and I made the XS version. I also modded the cardigan to make it a little longer in the body and with full length sleeves (the pattern has 3/4 length). Apart from that I did it as exactly as the pattern calls. Here it is in all of its Lush glory!
I am really pleased with it. I wore it all day today, but now it is in the sink waiting to be blocked. I was to eager to do it earlier, I just wanted to wear it!
Now I need to work out what project to cast on next. I currently have nothing on the needles and it feels really weird. I need to get thinking about what I want to cast on next. It is between some socks, possibly with my second skein of hand dyed yarn, or a baby blanket to use up the leftover yarn from my ripple blanket. I might need to draw a number out of a hat, because I really can’t decide!

That lace work along the top is beautiful. Nice work! 😀

Thank you very much. I am really pleased with it. It was a lovely pattern to work from. I just wish it would dry post blocking so I can wear it!
